I am an assistant professor of political science at the University of Connecticut. I received my Ph.D. in political science from the University of Georgia and my undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston.
My research examines American political institutions, focusing on Congress, the presidency, and the relationship between them. I pay particular attention to congressional elections, executive appointments, and questions of representation and accountability.
